Asuma Labs is a nonprofit organisation that tracks and researches emerging Web3 related security incidents, threats and fraud. We provide blockchain risk intelligence to security & fraud researchers, digital asset businesses, investors, developers and end-users.

Know Your Web3

Web3 is introducing new ways for information and systems to be decentralized. Lines of ownership are blurring while anonymity is increasing. Users no longer have central authorities where they can go to for help. The burden of security is up to each individual.

When smart contracts do not always follow basic security best practices, end-users are responsible for assessing the risks.  This is a daunting task for many and something they may not be able to do adequately.  There need to be better methods to inform users of the risks they face.
